Terms and conditions
1. Consumer Contracts Regulations for Distance Selling
At NML Airsoft, we comply fully with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (which came into effect on 13 June 2014) — implementing the EU Consumer Rights Directive into UK law.
These regulations are designed to protect you when shopping online, over the phone, or through any off-premises sales, ensuring you have clear rights if something goes wrong.
Your rights under these regulations apply to all orders placed online, via telephone, or through any method other than in-store purchases.

2. Information You Should Expect from Us
Before placing an order online, we will provide the following information:
-
Details about NML Airsoft, including our address and contact information.
-
A clear description of the goods or services being offered.
-
The total price of the goods, including any applicable taxes.
-
Available payment options.
-
Details of your right to cancel and any circumstances in which this does not apply.
-
Information on who is responsible for the cost of returning items.
-
Delivery details, including costs and estimated delivery times.

At NML Airsoft, we aim to make all information as transparent and up-to-date as possible. Product descriptions, pricing, and delivery options are clearly displayed on our website, and estimated delivery times can be calculated at checkout. Any additional information required will be made available during the checkout process.

3. Right to Cancel
When purchasing items online or by phone, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the order has been delivered.

This 14-day period allows you to decide and notify us of your wish to cancel. Once we have been notified, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You are not required to provide a reason for cancellation within this period.
A refund will be issued once the returned items have been received and inspected.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us via email at info@nmlairsoft.co.uk or by phone on 01226 885092, where a member of our customer support team will be happy to assist.

4. When There Is No Right to Cancel
In certain circumstances, the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not grant the right to cancel an order. Examples include:
-
Items that have been tailor-made, customised, or modified at your request (e.g. custom paintwork, workshop modifications, or two-toned replicas).
-
Goods that have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
-
Goods that have been altered after receipt, either by you or a third party.
-
Items that have been used beyond what would reasonably be expected when inspecting them as you would in-store (a partial refund may still be available; please contact us to discuss).
-
Items that are returned damaged by user error.
-
Services that have been fully completed prior to cancellation (e.g. workshop modifications, repairs, or custom services).
Items that have been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them — in the same way you would examine a product in a store before purchase — may not be eligible for a full refund or exchange.
If any faults or issues are found to have resulted from user error, improper use, or neglect, we will not be able to accept a return or issue a refund. However, our technical team may still be able to assist in repairing the item — please note that this would be a chargeable service.
Some issues covered under user error are but not limited to:
-
Weapon Modification
-
Use of poor quality BB’s
-
Accidental Damage
-
Intentional Damage
-
Using the incorrect batteries and/or chargers
-
Opening up the RIF by any means that will void the warranty

5. Cost of Returning Items and Refunds
Unless an item is faulty on arrival or not as described, the cost of returning unwanted goods is the responsibility of the customer.

If an item has been received faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange a free return — please refer to our Returns Policy for further details.

Refunds will be processed once the returned goods have been received and inspected to ensure they meet the above conditions.

6. Delivery Arrangements
At NML Airsoft, delivery costs and estimated delivery times are clearly displayed at the basket stage before completing your order. We offer a range of delivery options depending on your location, with 24-hour dispatch available where possible.
All deliveries are handled via trusted courier services, and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available at the delivery address to sign for the parcel.
Please note that no refund of delivery costs will be issued for failed deliveries where no one was available to accept the parcel. NML Airsoft accepts no liability for any loss or damage resulting from parcels being redirected to alternative addresses or courier collection points after dispatch.

While every effort is made to ensure timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays. These may include — but are not limited to — vehicle breakdowns, courier delays, stock discrepancies, or damaged goods identified during dispatch checks. In such cases, we will make every effort to keep you informed and minimise inconvenience; however, NML Airsoft cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss (e.g. missed game days, time off work, or similar).

Please note that certain orders may require additional preparation time before dispatch. This applies to custom or workshop-related orders such as two-tone paintwork, repairs, or modification services. Any additional lead times will be clearly communicated prior to checkout but may not appear in the automatically generated estimated delivery date shown in the basket.

All deliveries are made via a courier service selected at our discretion, and we reserve the right to use the courier we deem most suitable for your order and location.

7. Two Tone Service
NML Airsoft offers a two-tone service for customers who do not hold a valid airsoft defence. This involves applying a bright colour to a substantial part of the replica to comply with UK law.

We reserve the right to choose which areas of the replica are painted to meet legal requirements, and finishes may vary between models. Some wear, overspray, or minor imperfections may occur, especially on moving parts or high-contact areas.
Two-tone orders can take up to 14 working days to complete. The service is only available for replicas purchased directly from NML Airsoft and is non-refundable once work has begun.

By placing an order for a two-tone replica, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

9.2. Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
9.3. All airsoft equipment, replicas, and accessories sold must be operated responsibly and in accordance with site rules, safety briefings, and UK law. NML Airsoft will not be held liable for injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper or unsafe use of any equipment.
